Day 1: Chord Sequences

Day 1 is a little longer than most days will be. In general, I'm aiming to keep each day's videos to under 10 minutes, so that you have plenty of time to play the piano.

Below you'll find the PDF downloads of the pop songs we'll be working with for the next few days. I'll explain their use in the videos below.

Day 1 assignment:

1. Pick one of the three pop songs selected, and write one of them out in your notebook with chords (5m) - see PDFs shared in Day 1
2. Learn the basic chords for the song - you can write them down, play in whole notes, and even hands separate (10m)
3. Play the chords along to a recording of the song (10m)
